Quad CPUs Coming to the Mac?
According to MacSlash developers have found references to dual core G5s as well as four processors in the latest version of the CHUD tools. This isn't like somebody heard somebody's girlfriend's brother's cousin's mother tell their pet canary type rumor, this is one where it's documented in an actual Apple application. Seems pretty legit to me. The next MacWorld should prove very interesting if this and the long promised 3.0Ghz G5 are set to be announced. Even a quad 2.0Ghz G5 sounds impressive, but a quad 3.0Ghz G5?! Wow.

That is completely nuts. What is this world coming to? The cooling design was brilliant on the current G5, I would love to see how they manage to cool this one off. I think theyre gonna have to start using intercoolers taken from the Nissan Skyline.
